  Got a bacon cheese burger with Quebec poutine and ended up only being able to eat most of the poutine. Sent the burger to work with my hubby. Good portion sizes but I was just too full to eat it all! Friendly staff and yummy food.

  I've gone to Pine Dairy Bar for many years. I live nearby and its quick, cheap, and ok-ish tasting food the majority of the time. I went there one afternoon this week and the place was dead. That's fine, its the middle of the afternoon - its not exactly the lunch rush. I ordered myself the daily special and sat down to eat.

  Love the atmosphere. Fries weren't great but my burger was decent. My dad had a club sandwich and it looked delicious I'll have to try that next time. Wish more places in Timmins would offer chocolate milkshakes.

  Fast service, they didn't get my son's order right but we questioned it and my son said it was ok. After we left my son confirmed that he did ask for another flavour but it was my son's fault for not correcting the server.

  The owner comes in and checks the receipt, he decides I haven't paid enough for my special and tells me I need to pay 3 dollars more. The thing is, I had already begun eating my meal. I was 10 bites into my order when I was told I had to pay more.

  I was furious at being nickle and dimed for something. Accidents happen but its not like it was my fault the person entering my order didn't charge me right. If I had got it "to-go" would he have looked at the video footage, tracked me down, and decided that I needed to pay him 3$ in the street or the next time I was there? This is just one of the many stories people have of Mr Owner being greedy or rude to his customers. Ask around town yourself. Its no wonder the place is dead.

  The fifties atmosphere is great . The whole experience has that diner appeal. Great menu and local too. Maybe some pictures of Timmins during that time frame would add to it but all and all its very nice.
